Those of you who still fans of “Everbody Loves Raymond” There is an episode where Ray has a list of things he wants to do. Debra! On the other hand! Poo-poo’s the list. But to Ray! They are important to him.
It does not matter! How big or small they are. What really matters is. Since they are important to you? They matter!
Example: My dream is? Buying a case of Reese’s peanut butter cups! Taking the Amtrak train from Maine to the southern end of Baja California. If! They go that far? A Greyhound bus! To the same as well. Maybe! It was Simon & Garfunkel and their song “America”
Things like these! Do take the time to plan, save for. But! Most of us do! not Why? We get caught up with our friends, family, coworkers and such. That we do loose track of what we wanted to do in and of our life.
There are times when. We plan all right! But! In our “Golden years” is when we plan. We really do not know enough about the how to’s of planning at all.
The “stick to it” plan, determination to see it through the plan. We were not brought up by our parents to learn how to plan for anything. Is another problem? We do tend to concern ourselves with pleasing others than we. AKA! following what others do, say.
It’s not being self-centered! Or selfish! It’s doing what you want!
